WHILE WE ARE ON THE TOPIC OF BIRDS.....

Continuing from my post earlier today about birds......I just HAD TO share with you the absolutely breathtaking  artwork of Frank Gonzales!!
Frank's work poses an interesting style, creating paintings that appear to be digitally breaking apart as if they were compressed video. I love his portrayal of new technology through the use of traditional painting and subject matter. Enjoy my fellow bloggers..this is definitely a feast for the eyes....and if you find yourself still hungry for more..be sure to visit his site...or blog :)

  12. If you like Gonzales, I'm sure you might (must already?) also like some of James Audubon Works (bird AND animal watercolors; his was the the Society (formed in the late 1800's named in his honor)...

-> The Birds of America, 1827-38; the original, "double elephant" folios

The Ornithological Biographies, 1831–38 (text complementing Birds...)

The Viviparous Quadrupeds of North America, 1845-48

Love your sequence, and the unique idea, sweet.
